Brand identity for London based Michelin starred restaurant

Tom Sellers is one of London’s most promising young chefs and Restaurant Story was his first solo venture.

Inspired by the location and Tom’s personality, it was important for the brand aesthetic to evoke narrative with these in mind. The idea was to represent a rich history of hand craftsmanship and traditional techniques with a modern application.

To achieve the hand crafted quality of the identity, pen and ink were used on hand-made papers, illustrator Rosie Blair was commissioned to create animal caricature illustrations, and Lok Ming Fung handmade the crockery.
